Chapter 1783: Chapter 659
“The Six Great Divine Domains are located behind the Human Race, and most cultivators at the Legendary Realm are active outside the Chaotic Heavens.”
“And this area outside the Chaotic Heavens is not the broadly defined Chaos Void but a place called the Ancient Battlefield, where there are records of over a thousand different civilized races.”
“These civilizations come from the Vast World, and others are from different races that transcended the restraints of their worlds and spaces, with formidable strength.”
“Among them, there are existences at the True Emperor Level presiding, and more than twenty civilizations have reached the peak, with over one hundred and thirty top-tier civilizations guarded by Primordial entities.”
“The remaining races are either vassals of these peak civilizations or members of some civilization alliance; thus, the situation there is quite complex.”
“Currently, the Flame Wheel Divine Domain controls four Outer Battle Cities, located in different battle zones, supporting each other with the battle cities of other Divine Domains.”
“This time we are heading to the Azure Sycamore Imperial City, where our Master personally presides.”
“Master says that Brother Clark, your talent is exceptionally astonishing; as soon as you appear on the battlefield, you will quickly attract the supreme attention of the surrounding peak civilizations.”
“Each of those beings is mighty, and many possess peculiar powers that even our Master finds troublesome.”
“Therefore, before you step onto the Ancient Battlefield, some preparations are needed to avoid being targetted across space-time by True Emperor Level and above existences using cause-and-effect and the Power of Destiny for assassination.”
Above tens of thousands of kilometers of the Central Heavenly Realm, a towering Stone Gate reaching ten thousand kilometers high proudly stands.
Jack Clark, Sara Williams, and the one showing his True Body–an imposing middle-aged man wearing a golden red Imperial Robe, an Imperial Crown on his head, with red light shining behind his head.
After Sara Williams finished speaking, Jack Clark contemplated, “No wonder, it took so long flying from the Emperor Dragon’s side, only encountering a station of the Golden Eternal Divine Tribe.”
Thinking of this, Jack Clark felt puzzled: “Sara, why do all these civilized races gather at the Ancient Battlefield?”
Upon hearing this and before Sara Williams could speak, the Flame Wheel Great Emperor gently smiled and explained: “Because it’s special, it’s a nexus that connects to the Supreme Chaos.”
“The Supreme Chaos is a place where only Eternal Beings and above can enter or exit,” knowing that Jack Clark was clueless about these matters, the Flame Wheel Great Emperor patiently explained.
“Nearly a million years ago, the Vast World itself and another Eternal Being had a battle that tore through the Supreme Chaos, creating a rift area.”
“At that time, a strand of Supreme Chaos power descended, transforming and forming a semi-Eternal level ‘multi-layered world’, which is the Ancient Battlefield.”
“There, space-time has collapsed, dimensions are chaotic, connecting to countless unknown and dangerous regions, extremely perilous.”
“At the same time, the dispersed Eternal Air from the battle between the two Eternal Behemoths and the energy leaked from the Supreme Chaos have fostered numerous Divine Objects and treasures.”
“That is also why various peak civilizations station there and compete with each other.”
“No matter the era or civilization, the core of conflict is always interest–even those Primordial entities high above are no different.”
Jack Clark nods, signifying his understanding.
If it weren’t for interests, those Primordial Level existences who have already achieved immortality might have long since found a place to squat and live leisurely for a few hundred million years before doing anything else.
But faced with temptations that could accelerate cultivation progress and break through realms stagnant for tens or hundreds of millions of years, even Eternals cannot resist.
After all, breaking through to Eternal doesn’t mean there’s no pursuit left.
Otherwise, why would the Eternal Behemoth and the Chaotic Nightmare Master engage in fierce battle?
Now, with Sara Williams and the Flame Wheel Great Emperor’s explanations, Jack Clark has resolved some of the doubts in his heart and has a general understanding of the situation beyond the heavens.
But there are still some questions.
“What’s the situation with those Primordial Beasts outside the Chaotic Heavens and the Four Supreme Planes, as well as the Ancient Battlefield?”
“This issue is a bit complex.”
After pondering, the Flame Wheel Great Emperor said: “Those Primordial Beasts have deep ties with the Vast World, battling for years in the depths of the Chaos Void against the subordinates of another eternal being.”
“Their main objective seems to be searching for fragments, seeking the ‘parts’ of the body that belonged to that Eternal Behemoth after it shattered.”
“Because the goals and ‘ranges of activity’ of the two sides differ, and those behemoths are somewhat xenophobic, they do not much interact with the various peak civilizations and races.”
“As for the Four Supreme Planes, they represent another form of special power. While they are called planes, in fact, they can be considered exceedingly powerful concepts of ‘life’ beyond description.”
“The Reincarnation True Emperor once spent thousands of years studying the essence of the Supreme Planes’ existence, but later for some reason chose to give up.”
“Merely stating that it’s another path, a path infinitely close to one that might lead to the threshold of Eternity.”
“As for complexity, in countless worlds and civilizations, including all major peak races, there are proxy agents for the three Supreme Planes.”
“As long as one has the aptitude and potential, and their cultivation of a certain power aligns with the Supreme Hell, Supreme Heaven, and Supreme Abyss, they will receive an invitation from the Supreme Planes.”
“This leads to many civilizations where, internally, there might suddenly arise situations where exceptional talents vie for life and death.”
“Including some civilizations of different races that, due to special opportunities, are recognized by a tribe of Primordial Beasts–though their levels might be ordinary–they might have a group of Primordial Beasts backing them.”
“They may even possess the bloodline of that Primordial Beast group, becoming a certain bloodline race, and pull the might of that Primordial Beast group into the Ancient Battlefield.”
“…Indeed very complex.” Even Jack Clark couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed by this explanation.
Unexpectedly, beyond the Chaotic Heavens, it was so ‘chaotic,’ with numerous strong entities and many powers, and each civilization had different purposes and goals for their races.
But chaos is good.
A faint smile appeared on Jack Clark’s face; an era of chaotic disorder suited him best–after all, one can fish in troubled waters.
In the midst of their conversation, the Rune Array inscribed on the surface of the Stone Gate finally lit up completely, forming a murky vortex within.
As the great vortex churned, the intangible materials around it, imperceptible to the senses, time and space, were all disrupted, emitting a majestic and fearsome surge.
Sara turned her head, speaking softly to Jack Clark: “Brother Clark, let’s go.”
“Through the Ancient Heavenly Gate, we can leap through space-time directly to the edge of the Ancient Battlefield, to the core of our Human Race’s Azure Sycamore Imperial City.”
“The Ancient Battlefield, huh.” Jack Clark was somewhat anticipatory as the three stepped into the vortex simultaneously.
Boom!
The Stone Gate trembled, a dazzling and magnificent grey pillar of light piercing through Heaven and Earth, through the Firmament of the mythical world, and into the far beyond, disappearing into the endless Void.
The glow that emanated nearly illuminated the entire Central Heavenly Realm’s mainland, causing countless people to involuntarily look up.
Including Mathilda Ward and others who had entered the Flame Wheel Imperial City, they too saw that towering grey column of light piercing through heaven and earth, the young man’s silhouette involuntarily surfacing in their minds.
Even though they did not know about the existence of the Ancient Heavenly Gate, intuition told her Jack Clark was inside.
Regrettably, as the disparity in their strengths grew wider, the once intertwined paths of these two people gradually diverged.
And all it took was one year.
In the square of the Imperial Dynasty library, the Mysterious Martial Sky King turned to look at Mathilda Ward, who had halted her steps, and gestured to her, “Miss Joseline, let’s go, we will proceed with registration for reading access first.”
“Coming, Father,” Mathilda Ward refocused her gaze.
…
In the Chaos Void stood an imposing and immensely large fortress, as if a one-sided world, towering in red.
In front of the fortress gate spanned a silver-blue Sky Curtain resembling an eye, stretching tens of thousands of kilometers, teeming with airships and Giant Beasts moving in and out between the Sky Curtain and the city.
Such prosperity is exceedingly rare in the boundless Chaos Void.
Behind the red fortress, on a combined area of tens of thousands of kilometers of square, dozens of varying sizes of upright planar vortexes slowly revolved.
Boom! The largest muddled vortex suddenly vibrated intensely, the majestic energy emitted stirring Space-Time.
In the center of the vortex, strands of golden red light shimmered, followed by three figures slowly emerging.
Instantly, dozens of cultivators guarding around the pathway all knelt on one knee, respectfully saying, “We pay homage to Your Majesty, greetings to the Lord of the Heaven Observation Hall.”
Others passing through different pathways, along with many strangely-shaped beings of different races upon seeing this, also bowed in salute.
“We welcome Your Majesty.”
Amongst these people were not lacking those of Heavenly King and of ancient late stage, in addition to those emanating Eight Layer Heaven and Nine Layers Heaven aura from different races and cultivators, all being ‘Indigenous People’ born in Azure Sycamore Imperial City.
Although entering the Chaos Void requires at least being in the Legendary Realm, under the ‘Rule’ protection of the Imperial City, even those below the Legendary Realm could live there.
The Flame Wheel Great Emperor had an indifferent expression, surveyed his surroundings, and then slowly nodded, “Everyone, rise. Go about your business.”
“As you command,” the people bowed respectfully once more.
The abode of the Blazing Heaven True Emperor was located in a gorgeous golden palace suspended above the clouds of the Imperial City.
As Jack Clark followed Sara Williams and the Flame Wheel Great Emperor, passed through nine layers of checkpoints and several terrifying fluctuations that swept over them, he arrived deep into the palace.
Within a somewhat transparent illusory cosmos, endless red flames burned; an immeasurably majestic figure sat cross-legged at the center of the universe.
It was a woman, dressed in a white-gold feathered magnificent Imperial Robe, wearing a Golden Twenty-Four Heavens Crown on her head, holding a Great Sun in her hands, and her red hair cascaded down like a waterfall extending into the Void.
Meanwhile, Jack Clark and the two others stood on the edge of the cosmos.
Upon seeing that towering figure, Sara Williams respectfully said, “Master, I have brought Brother Clark over.”
The Flame Wheel Great Emperor also bowed slightly, “Flame Wheel greets Aunt-Mother.”
Aunt-Mother, isn’t she a descendant of a True Emperor? Jack Clark looked at the Flame Wheel Great Emperor in surprise, having always thought that the Flame Wheel Great Emperor was the son or grandson of the Blazing Heaven True Emperor.
At the center of the universe, the Blazing Heaven True Emperor slowly opened her eyes, and instantly two golden red Star-like eyes that burned with flames appeared, emitting a terrifying glow.
The moment those eyes looked towards Jack Clark, an extremely heavy pressure on the soul hit him head-on.
Boom! Jack Clark’s hair danced wildly, and behind him an illusory soul figure tens of thousands of kilometers tall, wearing a black Imperial Robe and a Twenty-Four Heavens Crown, emerged.
Under the oppression from the Soul Will level, Jack Clark’s soul avatar instinctively appeared.
Even so, he was still unable to withstand direct gaze from Blazing Heaven True Emperor’s eyes; the will carried in that look was too terrifying, potent enough to keep causing tremors to Jack Clark’s soul avatar.
Fortuitously, that dreadful will pressure flashed by in an instant, and then a soft voice resonated through the Void.
“My apologies, I’ve had some breakthroughs in my cultivation lately, a strand of my undying will inadvertently leaked and almost injured you.”
“I’m alright, Senior, no need to mind it.”
Just a strand of will was so terrifying; this was not any True Emperor of Fourth Heavenly Realm, Jack Clark suppressed the shock in his heart.
Having witnessed the strength of the Purple Glow Divine Dragon of the Third Day Realm, Jack Clark had some understanding of the few realms that precede the Primary stage.
Thus, he could confirm, Blazing Heaven True Emperor’s cultivation was not just of some Primary Fourth Heavenly Realm.
While Jack Clark was astounded by the cultivation of the Blazing Heaven True Emperor, awe also emerged in her eyes, “If I remember correctly, hasn’t it only been three Sun Wheels since Sherry last reported about the ancestral lands?”
In the face of Blazing Heaven True Emperor’s gaze, Sara Williams respectfully nodded, “Yes, Master.”
Astonishment surfaced in Blazing Heaven True Emperor’s eyes, “Three Sun Wheels, and your cultivation has jumped from ancient late stage to mid period of True Spirit; even we cannot match this pace of cultivation.”
Jack Clark humbly shook his head, “Far from it, Senior is overpraising.”
“Compared to those ancestors of Human Race who braved into the unknown space-times on the brink of their doomsday tens of thousands of years ago; my achievements are negligible.”
In response, Blazing Heaven True Emperor smiled slightly and did not continue on the topic, “On your way here, Flame Wheel and others must have already introduced the situation to you, right?”
“Yes, they have.”

Blazing Heaven True Emperor slowly began, “Our Human Race has come this far, not relying on the strength of one person alone.”
“It is through mutual assistance and support that we have reached this day.”
“Hence, you don’t have to worry about us having any schemes against you; the help provided to you and those who come from the ancestral lands falls within what’s expected.”
“Of course, there are limits to this help. How far you can go still depends on yourselves.”
